Up 11 am * dinner, stayed in all day, read Chums book, etc. supper played crib with Dad & read all evening.

Up 8 am * out and uptown, Eaton’s, met Lester & Art, to Free Press, Met R. Dixon to Eaton’s then to Alberts on William Ave, got turkey and Cigts, left home 12:10 pm, Saw Lil R. but she looked away, feels guilty I guess, home in lunch slept & read all afternoon, supper, out, met Nelson, Bill, to Poolroom, then home, read & played records on gramaphone then bed.

Up 8:45 am * got dog in, dusted stairs down, cleaned snow away, played records, lunch, in all afternoon, Vic Peake was here with a message for Mom, read, supper out 7:15pm walked out to E. Kildonan to Helmsdale & back by myself. Met Bud, home 9:15pm in Harold & Rose here, played cards "500" with Dad, Harold, Art, they are gone 11:30 pm bed.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Up 9:30 am * sorted out poker hands obtained from Tobacco, we bought, out to Vinters then uptown to Imperial Tobacco Premium Store, exchanged Poker hands for 2 pairs of stokings to WL McKenzie on Bannatyne with cards, home 12:25 pm lunch read all afternoon supper out to Vinters saw the boys then went uptown, cant go, no money, home then out to Roses, back in then out again with Dad to Roses, played :500" all evening home and talked.

Up 8:45 am * left to uptown, Eaton’s, Free Press and back to Eaton’s restroom, no milk, got streetcar, saw Lil Roberton, but she would not recognize me, What’s the matter with her anyways? Home 12:15 pm in lunch stayed in all afternoon, Roberta, Lil’s sister here with books that were mine, she’s gone out to Rosies at 4pm home, 5:30 pm in supper, and to Vinters awhile. In read, bed.
