Up 9 AM,*, woke up art, washed dishes, read, lunch, go to 3:30 PM East Kildonan, saw B. And C., home, in, supper, washed dishes Rose and Harold and Mr. Andrews here, Art gone, played crib with Harold until 9:30 PM, Rose and Harold and Mr. Andrews gone. Bed 11:30 PM
March 23, 1931 Monday weather: cloudy and mild
Up 10 AM*, helped with washing clothes, fixed washer, Mrs. P. Here to dress Mums head, and is gone, lunch, washed dishes swept floor, rose here, did writing, in all afternoon, supper, out 7:25 PM, met Edith Meakin, talked and promised to lend her books, out to East Kildonan, and back, met A. Sharp. Home, played cards with Mum, changed shoes, left 9:30 PM, met Edith, lent her book ,Rampant Age, walked home with her, home 11:15 PM, talked, bed.
March 24, 1931 Tuesday weather: cloudy and cold
Up 8:30 AM*#, washed kitchen floor, Mrs. P. Here, phoned Mrs. Porteous and her daughter Nan, was here, Mrs. Porteous gone, Rose went to the store and back, peeled spuds, read supper,read paper, washed dishes, out to East Kildonan, met with Bill and Alec, was in two-game, home, played crib, lost four to two, bed.
