up 7:45 am * , worked on lawn all morning, in lunch, out for a walk, met Bill, went for a ride in his car, to Transcona, ran out of gas, bought some, home, in, supper, out, worked on lawn for awhile, Bill came, decided to go to his sister’s, in St. James, borrowed 55¢ from Harold Andrews, to service station, gas, got half way then had car trouble, so came back, got home alright, in bed 11:15pm
