March 25, 1932 Friday

up 9:30am dressed, breakfast, washed dishes, played cards, lost, met B. Shick, to his Aunt’s house, talked played checkers then home, played crib, won 3 lost 1, did writing, time 6pm supper, shaved and washed, in all night, played cards, talked about Albert and Wife Bessie who gave birth to a girl at 10am today. Read, bed.

up 10:15 am dressed, breakfast, washed dishes, played some records, fixed regulator, played crib, lost, lunch, Mum went out, read, did writing, supper, out, walked around heard hockey scores at Muirs, Monarchs 4 Sudbury 3 home, in bed.

April 3, 1932 Sunday

up early, breakfast, dressed, did a few things in morning, lunch, washed dishes, Albert & Bessie here, came to take Ronnie home, some kid, supper, out to Muirs, walked home with 2 young girls, kids practically, had a nice mixture of weather, snow, rain sleet. Home 11pm, Art home 1am, to bed.

up 8am, dressed, breakfast, out 9am, walked uptown to Free Press, Eatons, ordered sugar, to Paulin’s, met B Elrich, home 12:25pm, feet sore, two blisters, lunch, in all afternoon, supper, out to Muirs, Score Monarchs 0 Sudbury 1, Bill came, talked home, bed.

up 6:40 am dressed, breakfast, to Paulin’s worked in bakeshop til 12, lunch, worked til 5:30pm out, home, supper, out to Muirs, walked out E, Kildonan & back with Bill S. Met Ann & Stella, to Prince Edward School, petted them but they were too young we thought, left them, talked, home, in, bed.

up 8:15, dressed, breakfast, out to uptown to Eatons, to Free Press, to the Mall Auditorium, to Paulins then home, Sat Bill Hartz uptown. Lunch, out, med Dick W. & Walter K and walked with them to Bergen Bridge & back, then home and supper, washed dishes, met Bill S. He went home, I went to show. Then to Muirs, to Harolds, to Muirs then home home, in, bed.
